British Team training camp, Junior IBU training camp and Junior IBU Cups 2019/2020

I started the winter season by travelling to Idre, Sweden to join the British Team snow camp for the first time. This was a great opportunity to get prepared for the season, meet the other team members and get a different point of view from the senior team coach.

The week preceding the first Junior Cup I participated in the Junior IBU training camp with fellow junior team-mate Titus Clark with whom I then competed with in the Single mixed relays during the season. The training camp was a great experience to be able to train with athletes from other small nations.

All this early season preparation put me in good shape for the early season racing and then onto the Youth Olympic Games which was my major goal for the season.

The competitions continued into the later part of the season, finishing with some tough racing in extremely mild conditions, but once again this was all experience on the international circuit for the seasons to come.
